Deris is pleased to announce the third Unreal Campaign training in February 2019 on behalf of International Trademark Association (INTA) in Turkey at TED Istanbul College.
The training started by the INTA Anti-Counterfeiting Committee member Okan Can with an introductory information concerning the INTA, the Unreal Campaign and continued with the explanations of two Deris volunteers; Kardelen Filorinali and Sarper Sever who explained what are trademarks, how they are protected and how to identify the real and unreal via interactive discussion. The consequences of buying counterfeiting products was another topic of the event.
Deris will continue to hold events in following months for Unreal Campaign.
The Unreal Campaign is a consumer awareness program of the INTA, which aims to educate high school students (14- to 18-years-old) about the dangers of counterfeiting and the importance of trademarks. Unreal is a multiyear initiative that will outreach to teens through online activities and direct school engagement. The Campaign has successfully reached over 9,000 students directly since its launch in 2012.
