According to the statistic of Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, 32,356 trademark applications have been applied in the first quarter of 2019. It should be highlighted that 28,197 trademark applications are domestic trademark applications.
According to the same statistics, 4,056 patent applications have been applied before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office and 976 patent applications out of 4,056 patent applications are foreign by contrast with the trademark applications.
As to the utility models, the number of applications is 718 whereas the number of design applications is 11,762.
